Northwest Territories

We landed in Yellowknife by air.  Then we took to the ice road by car. Staying outdoors in the open is a feat in the tundra winter. Driving on top of thousand feet deep lake is excitement and an experience.

We had a fantasy to dip our finger in Arctic Ocean.  Dempster Highway was an ideal route for it.  Only to reach there we had to use Klondike Highway from Whitehorse.
