Once a divided country, Germany is now the powerhouse of Europe. However, progress comes at a cost.  They say the German-speaking group will soon be in the minority in Frankfurt. Scars of modern political conflicts are visible in Germany more than in any other place on earth. Germany has elegant royal palaces, wide highways, and beautiful countryside.
